Be part of research: Submit your sightings
Send your sightings from Newfoundland and Labrador, to help us better understand presence of species, abundance and distribution and important habitats. This is part of our current two year research project in the Labrador Sea. The more data we can gather, the better we can protect whales and their habitat.
Data will be shared within the scientific community to fulfill knowledge gaps surrounding several large whales species in the Labrador Sea. This knowledge will be used to inform decision makers to facilitate conservation and protection of whales and their habitat
